For Halloween I wore this customised dress as part of my Day of the Dead costume. I even did a wee bit about it over on my Jolly Good blog. After all the work I put into it, and the fact this dress is sooo comfy, I couldn't just wear it once. So here I am styling it up post October 31st. I went for a monochrome look, adding a cosy jumper to keep the autumn chill out. I kept the skulls on my dress company with a skull print scarf I've had forever and a day.

I am definitely loving the good old black and white combo for this winter. After seeking out bright colours during most of the summer I am falling back into my monochrome habits. There is just something so striking about the combination. Plus it is super easy to put together which is a huge bonus when I'm getting dressed in the dark mornings while still half asleep.
