Glasgow Vintage Festival

So the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have now come to end. Truth be told we're not that into the sport but the games brought with them a gaggle of other great events and Vintage Glasgow was one of them. We weren't organised enough to book into any of the special dance events but that didn't stop us soaking up the atmosphere of the stalls and the Hair & Beauty Salon. We also bumped into one of our favourite Glasgow bloggers, Miss West End Girl. That lady has vintage style down to perfection!

There was a super selection of stalls with a fine array of clothing, accessories and homeware. We spotted a fair few pieces of glass wear and crockery, if only we had space in our kitchen cabinets! There was also a rather bountiful collection of garish Hawaiian shirts, which we always enjoy. But the stall that caught our attention the most (and everyone else if the crowd around it was anything to go by) was Eyedresser. A firm favourite at many Glasgow fairs we had a rather jolly time trying on a selection of frames. What do ya think...

After we'd had our fill of the stalls we decided to gorge on some sweet treats and soak up some more of the fine Glasgow atmosphere.

Watch out for our vintage outfits popping up later this week.
