Recently we headed along with our best blogger gals to the Limited Edition luxury department store curated by Scotland Redesigned. Situated in Ocean Terminal this shopping destination is open until 31 January for all those Xmas gifts and treats to combat the January blues. The team has put together a really beautiful space with charm by the bucket full- we spent an inordinate amount of time looking at nearly every individual piece. The shop embodies the phrase 'all killer no filler' and we loved it!
We saw some familiar favourites like Abetwix, Prints of Paradise, Helen Ruth, Kirsteen Stewart and Katie Lees but were also introduced to the likes of Kerr Watson, Rhodesian of Edinburgh, Skye Candles and We Are Rushworth.
The first rail we ran to was the beautiful Obscure Couture faux furs. All four of the girl gang are fans and we have both hovered over the checkout button of their website many times, but their campaigns are almost too good. Surely mere mortals like ourselves can't pull off these beauties? Being able to see and feel them in the flesh was a whole other matter- and YES WE CAN!

After trying on ALL the faux fur we moved onto scarf heaven! With bright and bold designs from Helen Ruth, softer more delicate tones from Trish Vass and animal and bird prints from Iona Crawford, there was definitely something for everyone. You know how much we love a good scarf round here, so you can imagine how excited we got. One of each would do us nicely.

As well as scarves and the Obscure Couture collection, there were plenty of other brands to help spruce up our wardrobes. We loved this amazing printed dress from Kirsteen Stewart. It also came in black and white, but the colour of this one was just so striking. Red sky at night and all that.
It wasn't all just for the ladies though, with unisex and menswear labels galore. Abetwix had a nice selection of printed tees and jumpers, while G69 Clothing showcased simple and sleek designs. Prints of Paradise also had a nice selection of high quality tees with unusual designs for both grown up and wee yins. The creepy Christmas print was fantastic. And, for something a bit cosier, we were drawn in by We are Rushworth. Comfy knits at affordable prices and all manufactured here in Scotland, winner!

Not to be out done by the clothing, there were plenty of other accessories to coo over. Katie Lees jewellery designs are always a treat for the eyes and the vast array of Rhodesian of Edinburgh bags was staggering. How anyone could pick just one is beyond us! We loved the wee ones (perfect size for a stylish camera bag) and the larger document sized satchels (if only we had documents important enough to be transported in something so beautiful).
Another bag designer that caught our attention was Kerr Watson. The display was impeccable and the bags and accessories looked such high quality. Not being a designer we were familiar with, it was great to get a look at the collection in person. We will definitely be checking out what else .... has to offer.

To make sure our living spaces were as well catered for as us, there was a selection of homeware, including more from Iona Crawford in the shape of cushions covered in familiar animals and Scottish landmarks. There was also a huge selection, and by huge we mean a whole wall filled with, Skye Candles. We spent way too long enjoying all the different scents and picking out our favourites.

As you can see we really enjoyed visiting the Limited Edition pop up and have only mention a few of the 21(!) designers on show. The shop itself is a relaxed space with friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand. They've also got a few of the designers making appearances so you get a chance to see the faces behind the brands. All good stuff! Get yourself along ASAP, and bring all your friends too....

Hanging with Lynsay and Vicky is always a lot of fun. And big thanks to Ruth for snapping our official girl gang day out photo.
