Here are my test shots for our photo booth and I think we did quite a snazzy job. Yes, I said snazzy. How else can I describe it? Even my glittery dress didn't outshine our tinsel backdrop!
As Helen explained on Monday, we are stepping into the world of the photo booth. We did this project to support our pals over at Wear Eponymous, who have a fantastic fashion brand and are branching out to showcase independent British designers. And what is a showcase without pizzazz? We wanted to get involved in The Wardrobe Pop Up, meet the customers and do a spot of street styling (but inside where it's warm and sparkly) so we photographed designers and customers and chatted to them all about their favourite products- more about them on Friday!
So, the dress. The dress. I already shared my love for it in my November round up but it was so fun to finally wear. Yes, I'm not quite used to wearing a loose shape and the cuffs were scratchy but I soon got used to that and the amount of compliments I received all day made it totally worth it. Pain is beauty! I stupidly didn't bring my shoes to Glasgow with me so brought out my clogs. Think they fit in with this vintage style though.
Speaking of which, I am in love with my Disney Evil Queen victory rolls, which were having their second day out after Bombshell Bettys Beauty Parlour put them in before my night out. Not bad for morning-after hair! Yes, the colour looks a bit funky here (I blame Helen's Photoshop techniques!) but my icy grey is washing out in the worst way. That's another temporary shade off the list. Back to pink perhaps?
Although we and our sparkles have moved on, there are lots of goodies to be picked up at great prices from The Wardrobe at Glasgow Fort- open until 31st December!
