A London outfit which includes an item bought during our trip to the big smoke. I was very excited to visit the Monki store during our daunder around Carnaby Street. I always enjoy browsing their  website but am often put off by shipping fees. Hitting the store meant none of that troublesome business, plus gave me the chance to try EVERYTHING on. There were so many bright quirky prints and I was very excited to see their collaboration with Lynnie Zulu in real life. I ended up buying quite a few items from the collab, including this fabulous skirt. As if the colours and print weren't enough, it also has pockets! I really love it when there are pockets.

I paired my new skirt with some simple black items to let it really stand out, but added some colourful accessories to tie it all together. I also used the opportunity to wear my new sunglasses. I picked up these fab frames at a vintage fair for only £5! They've been hiding in my drawer for a while until I finally visited Richard at Spex Pistols. With my perscription and some tinted lenses they now make for some perfect summer facewear. I didn't let a few clouds stop me from popping them on.

We spent this London Sunday having a good old look round the Brick Lane area. As well as popping into the Free Range exhibition we also checked out Box Park, ate breakfast burgers and fell in love with some vintage treasures. I made a few small purchases, including a colourful head scarf from Bekha Lu and a couple of prints by Jamie Morrison. Items that I now regret not buying include an awesome vintage yellow coat (the lack of pockets put me off) and a candy stripe dress and/or love heart tee from Franklin Tree. Forever haunted by the things I didn't buy. I guess I'll just have to go back.

Where are your favourite London shopping destinations? I'd love to know so I can plan my next trip.
